About Keenan
Being a part of the musical business for over 30 years, Keenan Pinkney, is well known as an accomplished saxophonist. He has emphatically made an impression in the South Florida area as well as many other states throughout the country. Keenan Pinkney was born and raised in Pompano Beach, Florida with his beginnings starting at Ely High School. As a part of the Ely High Marching Tigers, he embarked upon a journey to embrace the saxophone; this led him to where he is today. After leaving high school, Keenan joined the armed forces to be a part of the Army’s band where he toured around the country performing while being on call to serve at a moments notice.
Once Keenan left the Army after a four year tour of duty, he began performing for numerous artists that included genres such as gospel, rhythm & blues and jazz, which included the opportunity and privilege to professionally record. His recording accomplishments include Marc Cooper and Friends, New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, Mt. Olive Baptist Church and Lisa Kemp. His opportunities to open up for and perform with artist include:
Gospel Artists John Pee Kee, Yolanda Adams, Milton Brunson and the Thompson Community Choir, Miami Mass Choir, as well as Rhythm & Blues, Rude Boys and Lo Key.

Keenan has also had the humbling privilege to be a blessing to several Churches throughout the South Florida area, which include Apostolic Revival Center, The Faith Center (formerly known as Plantation Worship Center), Words of Life and New Jerusalem Primitive Baptist Church. Beyond having the opportunity to perform throughout the United States, Keenan has also performed in other countries such as Jamaica, the Bahamas, France, and Nigeria.
With his ability to add a special presence and unique flavor to music, his talent is in high demand. Keenan continues to perform locally and plans to further his career by developing his own solo album that will convey his love of music through his sweet and soulful expression with the saxophone.
